Adjust any connected display right from Windows—no more reaching behind the screen or digging through on-screen menus.
Key features
• DDC/CI hardware brightness with safe GPU gamma fallback
• Per-monitor brightness and contrast control (external displays)
• Built for multi-monitor setups (docks, dual/triple screens)
• Schedules and app rule profiles for automatic brightness changes
• Remembers your preferred brightness per display

• Tray icon for instant access
• Light and dark themes
• Lightweight native WPF app — responsive and memory-efficient
Schedules and per-app rules
The free edition includes 1 scheduled rule and 1 app rule for All Displays.
Display Dimmer Pro (optional one-time upgrade) unlocks unlimited rules, including per-display rules, plus additional themes and more advanced controls.
How it works
• Uses DDC/CI (when supported) to send brightness commands directly to the monitor
• Falls back to safe GPU-based dimming when hardware control isn’t available or causes flicker
• Lets you disable DDC/CI per monitor for best compatibility
Notes
• DDC/CI support depends on your monitor and may need to be enabled in the monitor’s settings
• Some advanced features require Display Dimmer Pro
