Gomoku (called also Five in a Row or Gobang) is a well known board game. It is played with black and white stones on a 15x15 board.

Players put alternately a stone of their color on an empty square.

The player who gets 5 stones in his color horizontally, vertically, or diagonally (one next to another) is the winner.
