1. Product Overview
Original Sound HQ Player is a WinUI application dedicated to providing music enthusiasts with an ultimate original sound experience. It focuses on high-quality audio reproduction and breaks the boundaries of conventional listening through excellent technology. It supports multiple music formats including dsd, flac, wav, mp3, aac, m4a, wmv, aiff, oga, ape, opus, and wv. It can convert supported audio to wav, mp3, flac, ogg, and opus. For audio output, it supports wasapi exclusive/shared mode, ASIO, directsound, and dsd dop output.
2. Functional Features
(1) Comprehensive Music Information
Real-time detail display: The playback interface shows core information such as song title, creator, album name, duration, sampling rate, bit rate, and file type in real time, allowing users to have a full understanding of the playing music and master all music data.
Metadata matching: After configuring the LRCAPI source, users can match the song album cover based on the music title.
(2) Sony Walkman Support
It enables easy USB transfer of music with matched metadata to your Walkman, and also supports the transfer of lyric files that have been matched.
(3) Efficient Folder Management
Manual addition and scanning: Users can independently select local folders, add them to the player for music file scanning, quickly import private collections into the music library, and expand the range of music resources.
Automatic rescan function: It can update the music library in real time and intelligently handle file changes, such as updating existing records based on path matching and deleting records corresponding to non-existent files, ensuring the music library is always up-to-date and organized.
(4) Multiple Output Modes
WASAPI Exclusive Mode: Supports both push and event modes. In this mode, the player exclusively occupies the audio device, reducing interference in the system audio processing process, minimizing audio latency to the greatest extent, and bringing users low-latency and high-fidelity audio output.
WASAPI Shared Mode: In shared mode, the player shares the audio device with other applications.
DirectSound Mode: DirectSound Mode has good hardware acceleration capabilities, which can effectively improve audio playback efficiency, especially showing obvious advantages when processing complex audio scenarios or multi-channel audio.
DSD dop: Output of original DSD encapsulated as PCM frames.
DSD Native: Output of original DSD format via ASIO.
(5) Scrolling Lyric Display
Scrolling lyric display: On the playback page, lyrics can be displayed in a scrolling manner according to the lyric time stamps.
Automatic lyric matching: Users can optionally enable automatic lyric matching in the settings (if you need to write to the file, please operate manually on the song properties page).
(6) Diverse Playback Modes
Sequential Playback: Plays each track smoothly in the order of the playlist, suitable for fully enjoying albums or carefully arranged playlists, guiding users to embark on a steady music journey.
Shuffle Playback: Breaks the fixed order and starts a surprising music journey. Each click on play brings unexpected surprises, helping users discover hidden gems in the music library.
Repeat Single Track: Locks the user's favorite single track, allowing the melody to loop infinitely, letting users immerse themselves in exclusive music time and fully appreciate the charm of the song.
(7) Playlist Management
Preset classic categories: Supports intelligent classification by songs, albums, artists, folders, and favorites. With one click, users can quickly locate their favorite music and browse the music library conveniently.
Favorite Music: Supports adding songs to a separate favorite audio list.
Custom Creation: Users can easily create, edit, and delete personal exclusive playlists, organize music according to personal preferences, and build an exclusive collection that matches their own music taste.
(8) SMTC System Media Transport Controls Integration
Displays the original album cover and pushes the timeline.
(9) Equalizer
A custom 10-band equalizer is provided, with multiple presets.

Customizable application styles: Including three styles: Mica, Acrylic, and Transparent Acrylic.
Customizable application themes: Including three themes: System Default, Dark, and Light.
Customizable animation duration, custom process priority, and custom initial interface.
(11) Keyboard Shortcuts
Esc to return to the previous level, Space to play/pause, ← to rewind 5 seconds, → to fast forward 5 seconds, ↑ to play the previous song, ↓ to play the next song, Q for music details, F for full screen.
3. Installation and Usage
(1) System Requirements
It is compatible with Windows 11 and above, making full use of system performance advantages to ensure smooth and stable music playback and provide users with a high-quality listening environment.
(2) First-Time Usage
After launching the application, users need to manually add folders containing music files. The player will scan the selected folders, import music into the local library, and build a personal music collection.
Through the convenient navigation in the sidebar, users can quickly switch to different playlist pages, start exploring rich music resources, and embark on an original sound music journey.
To add more music, click the "Add Folder" button, select the corresponding folder for scanning and importing, and continuously enrich the personal music library. On the playback interface, users can select the appropriate audio output mode (WASAPI Exclusive, WASAPI Shared, DirectSound) and the corresponding output device (such as built-in speakers, headphones, Bluetooth speakers, etc.) according to their needs to obtain a playback experience that meets their scenarios and sound quality requirements.
