Black Myth: Wukong – Mythology-Inspired Action RPG

Black Myth: Wukong is a paid action RPG from Game Science, set in a world inspired by Chinese mythology and the classic novel Journey to the West. You play as the Destined One, exploring distinctive landscapes, facing powerful enemies and uncovering stories behind the characters you meet.

Explore, fight and shape your approach

The game combines exploration with demanding encounters. Staff techniques are central to combat, while spells, transformations, abilities, weapons and equipment give you different ways to respond to opponents. You can combine these tools to suit your preferred fighting style rather than relying on a single ability.

• Explore a mythological world: Travel through varied landscapes and discover details connected to the story.
• Take on formidable foes: Face a range of adversaries, each with distinct strengths.
• Adapt your combat setup: Mix staff skills with spells, transformations and equipment to find useful combinations.
• Learn about the characters: Encounters reveal more about the histories and motivations behind both allies and enemies.

Who might enjoy it?

This game may suit players looking for an action-focused RPG with mythological themes, exploration and battles that reward experimenting with different abilities. Its Journey to the West inspiration may also appeal to players interested in stories drawn from Chinese literature. If you prefer games centred on relaxed activities or non-combat progression, its emphasis on confronting powerful foes may be less suitable.
