Mafia and Horizon lead October’s PlayStation Plus Game Catalog

Sony has announced October’s PlayStation Plus Game Catalog additions, led by Mafia: The Old Country, Horizon Forbidden West and Mycopunk. Most of the lineup is scheduled for October 20, 2026, though some titles have different dates in certain countries.

The main Game Catalog is available with PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium. Two more games, Dino Crisis 2 and RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition, are listed specifically for Premium. Sony detailed the lineup on the PlayStation Blog.

The three headline additions

Mafia: The Old Country — PS5. This story-driven action adventure follows Enzo Favara through the criminal underworld of early 20th-century Sicily.

Horizon Forbidden West — PS5 and PS4. Aloy returns to a dangerous frontier filled with unfamiliar tribes and formidable machines. Sony labels this a PlayStation Plus re-release: the game has appeared in the service before.

Mycopunk — PS5. Up to four players work together as a crew of robots fighting a planet-wide fungal threat. Mycopunk launches on October 20 and enters the Game Catalog worldwide on its release day.

The rest of the lineup

Extra and Premium members are also set to receive:

  • Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2 — PS5 and PS4: puzzles and pursuit in the depths of an abandoned toy factory.

  • The Midnight Walk — PS5: a dark fantasy adventure with a handcrafted clay look, playable on a screen or with PS VR2.

  • Tales of Arise – Beyond the Dawn Edition — PS5 and PS4: a fantasy role-playing adventure spanning two worlds.

  • Monster Energy Supercross 25 – The Official Video Game — PS5: motocross racing with a career mode.

The Premium lineup adds Dino Crisis 2 and RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition, both listed for PS5 and PS4. Premium members are also due to get game trials for Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy and Mortal Shell II on October 20.

Check the date for your region

October 20 is the main date, but Sony lists exceptions. Its English-language announcement says The Midnight Walk became available on October 14 in the US and UK and October 15 in Japan. Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2, Tales of Arise – Beyond the Dawn Edition and Monster Energy Supercross 25 are scheduled for October 27 in those three countries.

Sony says lineups can vary by region, so the relevant PlayStation Store page is the place to confirm local availability. Game Catalog access requires an eligible subscription and lasts while a title remains in the catalog.
