Pandora: Music & Podcasts is a streaming app for building music stations around songs, artists or genres and discovering podcasts. It is available on iOS and iPadOS and is designed for listeners who want recommendations as well as ways to shape what plays next.

Music stations you can tailor

Start with a favourite song, artist or genre, then explore recommendations for a particular mood or activity. Pandora Modes let you change the feel of a station without choosing a new starting point:

• My Station keeps the usual station mix.
• Crowd Faves focuses on tracks other listeners have rated highly.
• Deep Cuts brings in less familiar songs from station artists.
• Discovery introduces artists not usually played on that station.
• Newly Released highlights recent releases from station artists.
• Artist Only plays songs by the station artist.

These options are useful when you want a familiar starting point but are in the mood for a different balance of well-known tracks, deeper picks or new music.

Podcasts and listening on the go

Search or browse for podcasts, play recommendations and add shows to your collection. CarPlay support makes Pandora an option for listening during a commute or road trip. The app also includes a voice mode for common playback actions such as searching, pausing, skipping and adjusting volume.

Free installation and subscription options

The app is free to install, but some listening options require a subscription. Pandora Plus offers personalised radio, while Pandora Premium adds on-demand playback and playlist creation. Both plans include features such as ad-free music and unlimited skips; Premium also offers music downloads for offline listening. Offline availability and some playback controls may be limited by licensing restrictions. Advertising may apply outside the ad-free subscription features.

Pandora is available to customers in the United States only. Streaming can use substantial mobile data, so a trusted Wi-Fi connection may help reduce cellular data use.
