Spotify can help when you want to put on a familiar playlist, explore recommendations or keep up with a podcast. Search for something specific, browse playlists selected for different artists and discover personalised suggestions. You can also follow podcasts to keep them in your library and create or share playlists with others.

Free listening and Premium features

Free streaming is available, while Premium adds features including ad-free music listening, full on-demand playback and downloads for offline listening. Premium downloads can include music, podcasts and audiobooks. Audiobook access is subject to regional availability and plan conditions; it is not available everywhere.

Offline listening requires Premium, so the free option is intended for streaming. Some sharing features may also be restricted in certain regions. The App Store age rating is 12+.

How to install Spotify

1. Select Download on this page to open Spotify’s page in the Apple App Store.
